Meg'n....She's how it all got started!  We wanted to train a dog in obedience and ended up making it a full time hobby.  Meg'n was the first Golden Retriever in Colorado to earn the Master Agility Championship title, MACH2, MACH3, MACH4, MACH5, MACH6 and also first to earn the Golden Retriever Club Agility Hall of Fame award.  She is also the first Golden Retriever in Colorado to earn the USDAA ADCH title among many other USDAA titles listed above.  Meg'n has qualified for and competed in  the AKC National agility championships as well as the USDAA World Championships for the past 6 years.  In 2007 Meg'n placed 35th out of 300 dogs in the AKC National Championships held in Columbus Ohio.    Meg'n only gets better with age.   In April 2008 Meg'n earned her 6th MACH title, she's 10 now and still loves to compete.   She also earned 1st place in Performance Grand Prix at the Rocky Mountain Regional to earn a finalist spot at the National Championships in Arizona in the fall of 2008.   She is semi-retired now and only competes in an occasional  Preferred  or performance Excellent class where she jumps 16" and is having a great time.   She doesn't really appreciate her semi-retirement, she can't understand why she doesn't get the call to compete but she does enjoy the couch potato life when she can and loves to go for long walks and warm day swims.

Tar'n is a half sister to Meg'n and is quite the little spunkmeister.  Tar'n is a wonderful agility teammate , she's fast and loves to make her own decisions, which keeps Shar on her toes    She loves to swim and was responsible for teaching Kenzi that the pond in our back yard is good for more than just drinking.  Tar'n entered her first AKC trial in April of 2005 and in less than a year moved into Excellent  and in June of 2009 she earned her MACH   Tar'n continues to collect a nice array of colorful placement  ribbons.  In the fall of 2008 Tar'n earned her USDAA ADCH title in Lawrence KS.    When not playing on the agility field she also competes in hunt test and loves the thrill of the hunt, especially the water marks.  Tar'n and Fl'n have become best friends and they are always competing to be the first one on the training field.   Off the field they are play pals and often find a way to get into trouble together.

Fl'n is a rescue who came to us from the Omaha Humane Society.   He loves agility and hates to sit by and watch while others play.   Fl'n made his agility debut in  Nebraska in May 06.   He said his first trial had to be in front of his friends from Omaha.      Since then Fl'n has continued to get better and better, he's now competing in Excellent and Masters and he recently earned his first, of many, double Q's with two 1st places.  Fl'n also had an awesome USDAA Nationals in 2008, qualifying in every one of his events and quite often placing in the top TEN. Fl'n is again qualified to compete at USDAA Nationals for 2009.   Fl'n just keeps bringing home the blue ribbons to make his sisters proud.  When he's not doing agility he likes to herd the Goldens around the yard as if they were his private little stock of sheep.  They hate it which makes it even more fun for Fl'n.   We are so lucky to have Fl'n come into our lives, he is a wonderful addition to our canine family and the girls just love him.  Of course, they don't admit it:-)

KENZI TRIBUTE

Kenzi finished her MACH (Master Agility Championship) title on August 1, 2004, her USDAA ADCH title in September 2005 at the Texas regionals and her MACH2 on October 7, 2005.  Kenzi has also earned her GRCA Agility Dog Hall of Fame award.  Following her big sister, Kenzi was the second Golden Retriever in Colorado to earn these coveted titles.   Kenzi also earned a spot to compete in both AKC Nationals and USDAA Worlds in 2003, 2004 & 2005.  Kenzi placed in the top 10 in 2004 for GRCA agility Goldens, and placed 2nd in the Colorado team competition at the 2004 AKC National Championships.

In August of 2005 Kenzi was diagnosed with Canine Lymphoma.  While on chemotherapy Kenzi  continued to run in agility and earned her ADCH and her MACH2 and was well on her way to MACH3 with 20 double Q's and quickly adding up those points.  Unfortunately the lymphoma  invaded her bone marrow in August of 2006 and we had to say good-bye to our special girl.  It was a sad good-bye but we had a great year together and we had time to celebrate her life with her.  She went shopping with mommy, she went swimming as often as possible, she ate all her favorite foods and slept in all her favorite places.  Kenzi had a joyous year playing, laughing and smiling all the way and in the end she left us in a peaceful sleep under her favorite tree in the back yard surrounded by family and friends who shared stories and memories of Kenzi's wonderful life.
